Three Doors Down

The new and self-titled album from the slightly southern rock band Three Doors down has hit the shelves, it aptly named. This album showcases the band’s every aspect and somehow sounds more like TDD than they ever did. The first half of the disc is superb, ranging from introspective (Citizen/Soldier) to hard rockin’ train (Train) songs and everywhere in between. But in usual TDD manner the second half of the album falls off to nothing, it just seems to drag by, and ends on the slowest song if the set. A good listen by any standards, especially if you are a fan, don’t however expect a Grammy.
